Abstract
Changes in city planning, design, and management have resulted from the fast-paced combination of increased urbanization and technology development. The concept of smart cities has been rapidly adopted around the globe due to rising population density, infrastructural needs, environmental challenges, and the necessity for efficient public services. By fusing digital technology with urban infrastructure, "smart cities" aim to boost economic development, environmental sustainability, resource usage, and quality of life. Buildings and cities are becoming more flexible, efficient, and resilient thanks to intelligent architecture, which incorporates cutting-edge technology into these processes. how digital technology can be used into city planning through smart city initiatives and intelligent architecture. Smart city planning has progressed and is now showcasing the use of new technology like IoT, AI, cloud computing, digital twins, building information modeling, GIS, and smart sensor networks. Urban areas can be made more efficient and sustainable with the help of these technologies, which allow for data-driven decision-making, smart transit systems, automated building operations, intelligent energy management, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring.
