Abstract
This article examines the impact of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal on the U.S. economy and society during the Great Depression. The study investigates the series of government programs and reforms implemented by the Roosevelt administration aimed at providing relief, recovery, and reform. The paper explores key initiatives such as Social Security, the National Industrial Recovery Act, and the establishment of public works programs, and assesses their success in combating the economic downturn.
