Abstract

This study aims to examine Malaysia’s interest in investing in the teaching of the Arabic language to its tourist guides over recent decades through the mobilization of relevant means to promote this vital sector and enhance the services provided to Arab tourists, particularly those who are not proficient in English.


To accomplish this research paper, the descriptive method was adopted as the most appropriate approach for the nature of the topic, drawing on certain methodological tools such as analysis and deduction.


Among the most important findings of this study is the effective and significant role of foreign language learning in stimulating tourism activity in countries. This is manifested primarily in the contribution of teaching Arabic to Malaysian tourist guides, which has helped develop the country’s tourism sector and foster its economic growth and prosperity.
