Renewable Energies as a strategic option for achieving development and environmental sustainability in Algeria

Abstract
The importance of the study is highlighted by the growing interest in the renewable energy sector because it represents one of the most important main sources of global energy outside traditional energy, in addition to being clean and non-polluting energy to the environment, and this is what increases its value and gives it great importance. This is why Algeria - over the past decades - has paid great attention to the renewable energy sector due to the position it occupies in economic and social development. It also strives to devote the principle of environmental preservation and sustainable development to advance its economy in the future, by opening Promising prospects for investment in this field, and it has been able to achieve significant achievements in establishing and developing the structure of this sector through many incentive programmes, plans and laws.
